Composting food waste made easy
From table to soil in just 18 hours
Composting food waste is a sustainable solution that reduces both costs and environmental impact. Our fully automatic composting machines transform food waste into odorless, nutrient-rich soil in just 18 hours.
Perfect for kindergartens and offices to larger commercial buildings, recycling plants and municipal systems.
Fully Automatic Food Waste Composting
With our patented process, developed in Norway, waste management becomes easier, more hygienic and cost-effective.
How does it work?
The composting machines use an aerobic decomposition process, where food waste is broken down after 18 hours with the help of microorganisms and oxygen. This results in an odorless and nutrient-rich end product that has a dry matter percentage of over 90%. The end product is storage stable and has a weight reduction of 90%.
The food waste facility provides simplified waste management and a strong reduction in transport costs.
The composting process – step by step
- Grinder: The food waste is grinded in the kitchen.
- Transport: The waste is transported to the waste room via vacuum or gravity.
- Processing: Water and fat are separated in the processing unit. Specially developed software ensures the correct volume.
- Biofuel: The waste water can be reused as biofuel or sent through existing sewage within the authorities' requirements.
- Composting: In the composting machine, the waste is broken down into soil in 18 hours.
Advantages of our composting machine
The installation prevents bacterial growth and saves kitchen staff from heavy lifting and unnecessary use of time. The end product is odorless soil that can be used for fertilizer. This provides both cost savings and environmental benefits.
Good customer experiences
Our satisfied customers include commercial kitchens, hotels and kindergartens, both nationally and internationally. These have all experienced significant benefits with our composting solution.

A look back at our very first installation
Scandic Sunnfjord Hotel & Spa got the first facility in the autumn of 2006 and it is still in full operation. NRK's Breakfast-TV visited the hotel for a demonstration of how the food waste is handled and you can see that film below.
