The CM 250 is our flagship and most popular model. This machine handles 250 tons of food waste per year, or 680 kg per day.
The CM 250 is a great fit for larger hotels, canteens, and professional kitchens that deal with a lot of food waste.
Food waste is fed from an external grinder in the kitchen and then transported via vacuum or free fall to the bioreactor for dewatering, before being broken down into compost. This way, staff avoid having to transport food waste to the waste room, saving time and reducing wear and tear.
Volume and weight will be reduced by approximately 95%, and the dry matter will be stable for storage.
The system uses a modular design, so it can be expanded if you need more capacity or want to add more grinders.
The CM250 is equipped with an electrical cabinet containing a safety relay, contactors, relays, PLC, switch, motor protection, signal converters, current transformer and main circuit breaker.
The machine is secured with safety switches and an emergency stop, and it has a touchscreen for operation.
The CM250 can be combined with an M25 grinder or an I400 grinder.
Optional equipment includes vacuum transport between the grinder and bioreactor in a 50mm pipe, horizontally and up to 200m.
The machine is built in Norway, using stainless steel and electronic components from global market leaders.
